3:23 AM Dievie Terry – 0000 began routine vehicle patrol of Balboa Peninsula and surrounding Newport communities conducted high visibility patrols of public beaches residential streets or areas were checked and
found to be secure
0100 continue Patrol throughout Peninsula monitoring beach access points and public areas for suspicious activity, unauthorized Beach access, and criminal activity
0200 maintained routine Patrol of Beach and surrounding community. check
parking and common Gathering locations. looked out for all parks as well all conditions were normal no suspicious persons, disturbances, or safety hazards were observed area remained orderly
0330 completed final Patrol of Beach and community and remained secure. no new incidents or public safety concerns were observed. shift concluded with all assigned patrols secure
10:50 PM Dievie Terry – 1900 began shift by fueling the patrol unit. after refueling, conducted inspections of each beach access point to ensure they were clear and free of any safety concerns. upon completion, proceeded with routine vehicle patrols throughout the community, including the racquet club, each neighborhood park, and all accessible alleyways. maintained a visible security Presence by spending approximately 15 minutes patrolling each Park before continuing Patrol
through the surrounding areas of the community continued routine patrols of the Balboa peninsula, monitoring residential neighborhoods, public parking, and beach access points following the alleyways. no suspicious activity or violations were observed. visibility patrols were maintained throughout the community.
2100 started issuing reminders of the closure of beaches at
2200 conducted another round of patrols through the racquet club, neighborhood, beach access points, and alleyways. continue to provide a high visibility presence while monitoring for suspicious activity, Public Safety concerns, and property security. all areas remained orderly.
2200 began advising Beach patrons of the upcoming Beach closure and reminded individuals to exit the beach before curfew and after. Was met with full compliance from each individual. continued enforcing closure of all beaches monitoring each beach access point, surrounding streets, and public areas while maintaining a visible Patrol presence
