August 18, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
9:37 AM Dievie Terry – 0000 began patrol of the assigned area and maintain divisible security presence throughout the community, beach, shoreline, and designated access points. monitor pedestrian and vehicle traffic while carefully patrolling for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and after hours Beach activity.
0100 encountered two separate couples on the beach after posted closure hours. contacted both parties and advise them that the beach was closed. both couples were cooperative and were escorted off the beach without further incident continue to monitoring the surrounding community and Beach area after clearing the individuals.
0200 continued carefully patrolling throughout the community and designated areas. monitored pedestrian and vehicle traffic and conducted checks of the beach, shoreline, and access points for additional after hours activity. maintain the visible security presence and continued monitoring for safety concerns or suspicious activity. moved fishermen from the park to the jetty.
**** 0245 located a fisherman on the shoreline after Beach closure hours. contacted the individual and advise them that the area was closed. the fisherman was cooperative and was escorted from the shoreline without further incident. gave additional information to fishermen that he can be on the Jenny all night instead of the beach because it was closed
0300 continue final patrols throughout the community, beach, shoreline, all parks and access points. conducted thorough checks for additional after hours activity and ensure the area remained clear. secured the security vehicle at the conclusion of the shift. completed a thorough written report documenting the earlier encounter involving minor children who brandished a knife, including the circumstances and observation from
the encounter no further incidents were observed prior to the end of shift pictures of the report given to PD was made and it was attached to earlier report
7:10 PM Dievie Terry – grey Volkswagen license plate : 9TLT381 NO TICKETS WERE ISSUED AT THIS TIME USED SOLELY FOR COMMUNITY AWARENESS
9:41 PM Dievie Terry – 1900 assumed watch and observed KTLA news station covering the wedge. Parked in the red at West jetty park. normal traffic and moderate pedestrian movement. started patrol throughout community observing activity of parks , racquet hall, beach access points, and common areas of community. all conditions reported normal.
2000 continued patrol with efforts focused primarily on community and crevices of the community. monitored activity by the West jetty park with 2 cars parked in the red all other conditions are normal
2100 noticed construction on the floor on the corner of Seville and Balboa. Assuming it’s cement drying. ( photos attached )patrolled throughout community . monitored activity with construction at homes for any unauthorized presence. all other conditions were normal.
11:05 PM Dievie Terry – 2200 conducted patrol of the shoreline started enforcing closure time . escorted previous known violators on the beach 1 male 1 female, compliance was still met and escorting was successful. monitored beach and posted at each beach access point to reinforce security presence and deter unauthorized activity.
4:14 AM Dievie Terry – 0000 patrolled shoreline and beaches and escorted multiple violators. all other conditions normal removed people off lifeguard station continued to pay attention to beach rather than community
0100 did a patrol on community watching homes and paying attention to different alleyways . following patrol went back to shoreline and investigated and there were no problems to report
0200 removed individuals off beach using vulgar language to myself. however compliance was there all other conditions normal
0330 completed final patrol to all conditions normal. no unusual activity that needed security intervention
