August 19, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:40 PM Dievie Terry – 1900 assumed watch and valet was noticeable by Bay beach.made contact with valet personnel and were informed that there was a party for a homeowner. all conditions were normal . continued routine patrol throughout community observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic . observing activity on beaches and park. stayed at each park for 15 mins each to observe activity in surrounding area.

2000 continued patrolling neighborhood with efforts given to community, beaches, and parks. Homeowner approach me and complained about the lights. I spoke with him and apologized for the inconvenience however I am observing the community and I stay for 15 mins. he later explained it’s fine if your leaving his assumption was that I were going to stay I did leave to not further disturb. afterwards, all conditions were normal.
2100 started issuing reminders of the closure of the beaches. afterwards continued patrol of community. observed a little higher than moderate foot traffic throughout community. monitored area for unusual activity and unauthorized presence in community.
2200 started enforcing the closure of the beach. each lifeguard station were populated with people which I escorted off beach with ease. observed there were patrons on the Bay beach unrestricted area.made contact and said this area is only for homeowners in the area compliance was met and successfully escorted off property. shifted gears from attention in the community to attention on the shoreline and beach.
