August 20, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

2:58 AM Dievie Terry – 0000 started another patrol and observation was on the beach and shoreline. no violators at this hour. continued patrol throughout community and observed minimal pedestrian traffic all other conditions normal

0100 observed multiple Police patrol vehicles throughout the community. carried out beach enclosure by escorting couple on beach with blow up bed. full compliance from . continued patrol on shoreline and found male smoking and informed male of closure and fully complied. all other conditions normal

0200 conducted patrol of community to no change in community traffic. observed activity at parks and conditions were normal. observed activity on beach and activity were normal with no after hour violators.

0330 conducted final patrol patrol to no irregular activity. park activity was normal , beach activity were normal with a few violators. no incidents that require security presence.

8:06 PM Carlos Mejia – 1900–1955

Conducted an initial security patrol of the alleyways, tennis court, beach areas, and surrounding parks. Checked the various areas for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, safety concerns, and any unusual conditions. Inspected the surrounding walkways and common areas while maintaining an active and visible security presence throughout the property. Continued monitoring the area during the patrol and remained alert for any activity requiring security attention. No suspicious activity or safety concerns were observed at this time.

8:33 PM Carlos Mejia – 1956–2030 — Continued conducting security patrols and supervision throughout the parks, beach areas, alleyways, tennis courts, and surrounding property. Monitored traffic flow and general activity in the area while maintaining an active and visible security presence. Checked the tennis courts and adjacent walkways for any suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, or safety concerns. Continued monitoring the parks and beach areas while observing pedestrian activity and maintaining awareness of the surrounding environment. Greeted multiple residents during patrol and maintained a professional and courteous interaction with residents. Continued moving throughout the property to provide security visibility and deter any potential unauthorized or suspicious activity. No suspicious activity, disturbances, or safety concerns were observed during this patrol.

9:30 PM Carlos Mejia – 2030–2130 — Continued conducting security throughout the beach areas, alleyways, surrounding parks, and common areas. Notified residents and others about the beach and fishing areas close at 2200. Monitored traffic flow and general activity throughout the property while remaining alert for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, disturbances, or potential safety concerns. Conducted visual

checks of the beach and park areas and continued monitoring the surrounding walkways and access points. Greeted multiple residents encountered during patrol and maintained a professional and courteous security presence. Continued circulating through the property to provide visibility, deter potential unauthorized activity, and maintain awareness of changing conditions. No suspicious activity, disturbances, or safety concerns were observed during this patrol.

10:50 PM Carlos Mejia – 2135–2245 — Continued conducting an active security patrol throughout the property, including the alleyways, parks, tennis courts, beach areas, surrounding walkways, and access points. Monitored traffic flow and general activity while maintaining a highly visible security presence. Checked the different areas for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, disturbances, and potential safety concerns. As the scheduled beach closure time of 2200 approached, continued monitoring the beach area and observed residents and other individuals still present after the closure time. Contacted the individuals remaining in the beach area and politely advised them that the beach was closed and requested that they leave the area. Continued monitoring the beach and surrounding access points to ensure the area was cleared and remained compliant with the posted closure. After the beach was cleared,

resumed routine patrols of the parks, alleyways, tennis courts, and surrounding areas. Continued monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic and remained attentive to activity throughout the property. Maintained a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with residents and individuals encountered during patrol. No confrontations, suspicious activity, or additional security concerns were observed during this patrol.

11:27 PM Carlos Mejia – 2255–2330 — Continued conducting security patrols throughout the alleyways, beach areas, parks, and surrounding property. Monitored traffic flow and general activity while maintaining a visible and active security presence throughout the area. Conducted visual checks of the beach and park areas, along with surrounding walkways and access points, for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, disturbances, or safety concerns. Continued circulating throughout the property to provide security visibility and deter potential unauthorized activity. Remained attentive to residents, pedestrians, and vehicle activity encountered during patrol. No suspicious activity or security concerns were observed at this time. Completed the current patrol and prepared to take the scheduled lunch break.
