June 9, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
1:11 PM Dievie Terry – 1945 Not able to conduct patrol due to heavy traffic. Staying on post to show security presence. Restricted areas made patrol and observing difficult. Still conducting daily operations as normal.
2000 Maintained position and stood as security presence. No further unordinary situations. Still large crowds throughout West Jetty Park and very high foot traffic throughout community. Multiple parking infractions throughout community observed. Several individuals asked about traffic control assistance but informed homeowners that is outside the scope of security. Continued monitoring area and maintained presence.
2020 monitoring traffic and significantly is getting less congested however still a lot of traffic
2030 Park ranger were relieved by myself and parked car at West Jetty
Park with lights on and deterred Drag racers, and personnel not permitted through
2100 Traffic starts decreasing .Resumed regular patrol, and all conditions are normal. Parking gotten better, but still there is illegal parking.
2200 Resumed with regular patrol, and all conditions are normal. Maintained clearance of al beach entries and exits. stood post at West jetty park.

2300 Documented and recorded the license plates to discourage further parking violations. Proved effective because as vehicle owners came and saw they left immediately continued patrol around community.
3:09 AM Dievie Terry – 0000 Returned from scheduled lunch break and resumed patrol. Traffic drastically died down, and little to no traffic at West Jetty. All conditions normal.
0100 All conditions remained normal. minimal to no foot traffic at West jetty park. Observed patrons observing the Swells on beach but remain at the beach.
0200 All conditions remained normal. No foot traffic seen. Checked all beach entries, additionally checked all points of interest.
0300 all conditions normal
