PATROL REPORT – August 22, 2026

August 22, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

2:44 AM Dievie Terry – 8222026

0000 during shift primary focus was monitoring the shoreline and Beach areas for suspicious activity, with a secondary focus on the surrounding community and streets. regular patrols were conducted throughout the area, including observation of beach access points, Shoreline activity, and streets for any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity. no activity detected at this time.

0100 conducted search throughout community and shoreline of beach. minimal activity and little to no violators of the beach closure. all conditions remained safe as there were a clear beach as well as little to no traffic in the community

0144 may contact with a group of five individuals at L Street lifeguard station. the group was advised and left the area without any issues or further incident.

0200 did another patrol observing homes in construction as well as park activity. all conditions remained normal with no activity requiring security presence

**0230 observe fisherman packing up their boats near Bay beach. may contact with the individuals, who confirmed they were leaving the area. no

issues were observed.

0330 the remainder of shift consisted of continued Shoreline and Beach patrols, monitoring the community, and patrolling surrounding streets for

suspicious activity. no further significant incidents were observed or reported. Patrol vehicle were secured and the area was monitored due to

the end of shift as 03:30. properly secured vehicle, body camera  and unit phone

2:46 AM Dievie Terry – 0330

concluded shift with properly secured vehicle,body camera on charger, proper reports were done. shift concluded without further incident.

7:46 PM Dievie Terry – 1900 Assumed watch

1920 immediately at Bay beach was interrupted by individual in blue shirt summer shorts sun hat driving a black Mercedes Benz s700 (photos attached) class saying why am I on the dock patrolling. Had a verbal dispute that ended with him saying I’m only security go back to patrol. I deescalated by finally leaving said dispute and continued with patrol throughout community.

8:01 PM Dievie Terry – (cont’d) patron is taking his time leaving area. parked in front on a fire hydrant. individual has been here for at least an hour

8:01 is he is finally leaving.

8:20 PM Dievie Terry – black Toyota Corolla parked in red (photos attached) no tickets issued at this time used for community awareness

8:49 PM Dievie Terry – 2100 conducted another patrol of community with intensified attention on Bay beach and surrounding area due to incident earlier. body cam footage shows after incident and short interviews with fishermen there recalling the situation continued rounds of community by paying attention to vehicle and pedestrian traffic which was significantly higher than usual.

**came across small gathering by g street and made contact with group for quieting down in neighborhood. Group were celebrating an engagement. Did give reminders that we are in a neighborhood and if they can turn the volume of their noise down for surrounding homeowners and was met with full compliance. later dispersed from area without incident. continued patrol monitoring community activity and all other conditions were normal .

11:31 PM Dievie Terry – 2200 started enforcing closure of all beaches. Made thorough search for after hour violators . primary attention shifting from community to escorting patrons off beach and secondary attention is community . monitored community streets, areas, and access points for suspicious activity in safety concerns. maintained an active Patrol presence and continued observation of the surrounding area. no significant incidents or suspicious activity were observed at this time. notice there were higher than usual pedestrian traffic on beaches so efforts took longer than usual. all other conditions were normal
