August 12, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

12:17 AM Carlos Mejia – 2340–0020: Continued proactive patrol operations throughout the assigned area, checking parks, beaches, alleyways, tennis courts, beach access points, and surrounding areas. Maintained a visible security presence while monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow throughout the community. Conducted periodic checks of the tennis courts and surrounding areas to ensure the facility remained secure and free of unauthorized activity.

Continued monitoring the beaches and parks for after-hours activity and maintained enforcement of the established closing times. During the patrol, encountered individuals remaining on the beach after closing hours and professionally advised them that the beach was closed and instructed them to leave the area. Maintained a calm and professional demeanor while ensuring the individuals cleared the beach. After the individuals left, conducted an additional check of the surrounding beach area and access points to confirm the area was clear.

Additional patrols were conducted through the alleyways and other less trafficked areas while maintaining situational awareness and a strong security presence. Continued observing traffic flow and surrounding activity for any unusual or suspicious behavior. All areas checked were maintained in an orderly condition, and no significant disturbances,

vandalism, or other security concerns were encountered during this patrol period.

1:14 AM Carlos Mejia – 0020–0105: Continued proactive and highly visible security patrol throughout the assigned area. Conducted repeated checks of the beaches, parks, tennis courts, alleyways, beach access points, surrounding walkways, and nearby streets while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the community. Monitored vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow and remained alert for suspicious behavior, unauthorized activity, disturbances, property concerns, and potential safety hazards.

Conducted thorough checks of the beach area and surrounding access points to ensure individuals were not remaining in restricted or closed areas after hours. Continued to enforce the established 2200-hour beach and park closing time by professionally advising individuals encountered after hours that the areas were closed and requesting that they leave. Maintained a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor during all interactions.

At approximately 0055 hours, while conducting a beach check, observed a few individuals engaged in inappropriate activity on the beach after closing hours. The individuals were approached and professionally informed that the beach was closed and that they needed to leave the area. The individuals were directed off the beach and the area was subsequently rechecked to ensure they had departed and that no additional unauthorized activity was taking place.

0105-0135 : Following the incident, continued patrol of the remaining beach areas, access points, nearby parks, and alleyways. Conducted additional checks around the tennis courts, including surrounding entrances and immediate areas, to ensure the facility remained secure and free of unauthorized persons. Continued monitoring traffic flow from a safe position while maintaining a visible security presence intended to deter suspicious or unauthorized activity.

Additional patrols were conducted through the alleyways and less traveled portions of the assigned area. Checked for individuals lingering in closed areas, signs of property damage, unusual activity, or other conditions requiring attention. Greeted residents encountered during patrol and maintained professional interaction while continuing security operations.

Completed another overall check of the assigned sectors before the end of the patrol period. Beaches, parks, tennis courts, alleyways, and surrounding areas were checked and found to be secure and orderly. No additional disturbances, vandalism, suspicious activity, or safety concerns were encountered following the removal of the individuals from the beach.

2:54 AM Carlos Mejia – 0200–0300: Resumed proactive patrol operations following lunch break and continued security checks throughout the assigned area. Conducted repeated patrols of the beaches, parks, tennis courts, alleyways, beach access points, surrounding walkways, and nearby streets while maintaining a highly visible security presence.

Continued monitoring the beaches and parks for after-hours activity and checked access points to ensure closed areas remained secure. Conducted additional checks of the shoreline and surrounding beach areas, including lifeguard stand locations, while remaining alert for individuals attempting to enter or remain in restricted areas after closing hours. Any individuals encountered in closed areas were professionally advised of the closing requirements and directed to leave as necessary.

Checked the tennis courts and surrounding perimeter to ensure the facility remained secure and free of unauthorized activity. Inspected nearby entrances, pathways, and surrounding areas for suspicious persons, property damage, or safety concerns. Continued patrol through alleyways and less-traveled areas to maintain security visibility and deter unauthorized activity.

Monitored vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, which remained light and slow during this time period. Continued observing surrounding activity while maintaining situational awareness and a visible security presence throughout the assigned area.

Conducted additional checks of parks, beaches, alleyways, tennis courts, access points, and restricted areas prior to 0300 hours. All areas checked remained orderly and secure, with no significant disturbances, vandalism, or additional suspicious activity encountered during this patrol period.

3:25 AM Carlos Mejia – 0300–0330: Conducted final security patrol prior to the conclusion of the shift. Completed final checks of the beaches, parks, tennis courts, alleyways, beach access points, lifeguard stand areas, restricted areas, and surrounding common areas. Maintained a visible security presence throughout the assigned patrol sectors and remained alert for any suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, disturbances, or safety concerns.

Conducted a final inspection of the beach and park areas to ensure they remained clear following the established after-hours closing time. Rechecked the tennis courts and surrounding access points and confirmed the area remained secure. Additional checks were conducted throughout the alleyways and less-traveled areas to verify there were no individuals lingering in restricted areas or other conditions requiring attention.Vehicle and pedestrian traffic remained light during the final patrol period.

Continued monitoring the surrounding area while maintaining professional security coverage through the end of the shift. All assigned areas checked were found to be orderly and secure, with no additional suspicious activity, disturbances, vandalism, or safety hazards encountered.

10:49 PM Dievie Terry – 1900 began shift with a patrol of the community, checking residential streets, alleyways, parks, the racquet club, homes under construction, and other community points of interest while observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic throughout the area. maintain the visible security presence and monitor for any unusual or suspicious activity.

2000 continued Patrol throughout the community, checking parks, residential streets commas Alleyways commas construction areas commas the Racquet Club Commons and surrounding points of interest while observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic. patrol routes were very to provide coverage throughout the neighborhood and deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.

2100 conducted another Community Patrol prior to 2200 closure. check the residential areas, parks, alleyways, construction sites, the racquet club, and other points of interest while observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic. beach access points were also checked in preparation for closure. no significant activity requiring for the action was observed.

2200 beach closure enforcement began. primary Patrol attention shifted to the beach, shoreline, pier, Lifeguard stations, beach access points, and West Jetty park. Patriots remaining in closed areas were provided Kurdish  courteous reminders and directed to exit that restricted areas

*2230 Woman celebrating divorce with cake was on beach and notified patron of beach closure and escorted off of beach courteously.

*2200 multiple fishers were on the park rocks fishing and escorted each patron off due to beach closure.
