June 8, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:19 PM Dievie Terry – 1900 assumed watch, inspect the unit, starting patrol
11:05 PM Dievie Terry – 1900 conducted initial patrol of the peninsula. All conditions are normal. Noticed increased foot traffic throughout the area and observed illegal parking (in red). Monitored the activity and maintained security presence. Parks and beach access points entries were checked with no additional issues observed.
2000 conducted follow up patrol foot traffic reduced dramatically.checked all beach entries and exits
2100 started to give reminders of parks and beach closures to remaining parties left. Gave friendly reminders to the large parties and newer arrival of fisherman.
2200 advised patrons that the park and beach are closed after 2200 only . All conditions normal. No large parties being gathered or fishers are being seen at this time.All parks are secured. No further activity to report. maintained position for 15 mins then resumed regular patrol.
2300 all conditions normal. No traffic due to high tides so no fishermen.
3:23 AM Dievie Terry – 23:40 resumed watch. All conditions normal. maintaining security presence throughout neighborhood. Patrons are asking if they can fish but I did advise that the beaches are closed at 22. Traffic is picking up due to High tides but no big crowd gathering or fishermen
0030 Gave friendly reminder that rocks are off limits but general entry is fine. patrolled throughout entire community and all conditions were normal. Maintained security presence at Balboa Pier to deter fishermen
0130 all conditions normal, fewer traffic due to high tide. did patrol throughout community and common areas. no suspicious activity nor safety concerns observed.
0230 all conditions normal , minimal traffic due to high tides, no suspicious activity
0330 ended shift with all tasks being completed. Returned patrol vehicle on Balboa Blvd adjacent to children’s park near Miramar to increase security visibility as per instruction
