May 11, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00….
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and up to E Bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Blvd to G street access and F street access points. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled back down M Street to Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is normal for now….
8:00-9:00….
**** I had a complaint about a group of E bike riders misbehaving around channel Rd and Granada avenues. I patrolled to the area. Unable to locate the riders. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to I street and L street and L Park and back across to M Street and back down to Ocean Blvd. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled back down to Ocean Blvd and Jetty Park and up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now….
9:00-10:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier for closure.*** A few people on the pier all cooperative about leaving. All clear on the pier….
10:00-11:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to I street and I alley to L street and L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. *** I had a few people on the fishing pier. They left without incident. All clear on the pier. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park for closure***. A few people on the P Tower all cooperative about leaving….
11:00-12:00….

I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to G street access and F street access points. All clear for now. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now…..
12:00-1:00….
I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to M Street Access point. All clear. Then to L street access point. All clear for now. Then I street access point. All clear for now. I then patrolled across to G street access and F street access points. All is well for now. Then I patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Alley North to G street. Then I patrolled across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. All is well for now…..
1:00-2:00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd.*** I had a girl next to her car at the wedge barricade. She said her car is over heating. I’m monitoring the situation now. She seems a little suspicious. I don’t see her car overheating. I informed Newport Beach Police. She has now made it off the point. She drove through the alley and up to L street and out Balboa Blvd. I then checked the area out to B street. She’s gone. All is well. I then patrolled back across Balboa Blvd to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now…..
2:00-3:00….
I then patrolled back to A street. Then patrolled back across to A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and back across Balboa Blvd to the fishing pier and the clubhouse and across to channel Rd and Jetty Park. All clear. Then back across Ocean front alley to G street access and F access points All clear. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and up to E Bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood. All is well code 4 patrolled…..
