July 3, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:40 PM Ashley Campos – 1700: clock in patrolled the island nothing to report.
10:03 PM Ashley Campos – 2000: patrolled in the alleys all code 4, kids
and riding bike nothing to report.
2100: people parking in red and informed them they can’t park in red at
West jetty view park. no issues they left with no trouble. continued to
patrol the island
10:44 PM Ashley Campos – 2200: cleared the dock made sure everyone left. it is quiet so far no reports so far, patrolling in alley ways and main street. no suspicious activity going on.
11:45 PM Ashley Campos – 2300: patrolling around not much activity other than magnet fishing and the dock. escorted him out and everything is clear. will continue patrolling around the island.

two people who I let know the dock was closed. they turned away and left.

2:34 AM Ivan Campbel – got a call from a resident that someone was blasting music near ocean and I cross streets. I drove the unit and was able to locate the house which was playing loud music with the windows open. I rang the door bell and ask if the resident could please turn it down and he did immediately. I thanked him and asked him to enjoy the rest of his evening.
3:12 AM Ivan Campbel – there were two Hispanic gentlemen illegally fishing out deep at the West jetty area rocks. they have been there all night but they were too far to reach. Let them know that the beach closed at 10pm they said they know.

9:34 PM Ivan Campbel – large crowd due to firework show but everything went peacefully.
9:35 PM Ivan Campbel – approached a few beach goers who were lighting sparkler fireworks. I let them know fireworks of any kind are illegal in Newport beach
