0200 routine Patrol conducted period every remained calm and minimal activity. check the beach, surrounding walkways, and public areas. paid attention to the parks as multiple pedestrians were observed there no fishing on the jetty as Sheriffs Department came and escorted Personnel out
0330 completed final patrol of the area. community remain quiet and gone with little to no activity. Beach areas were clear up after our violators. no incidents or concerned observed during the remainder of the shift properly secured vehicle, while properly secured unit and bodycam. logged reports into Silvertrac
3:01 AM Dievie Terry – finished Patrol wall properly securing vehicle and Unit phone. properly logged and reports and logged off of Unit phone to show activity of security officer. body cam footage attached as well as pictures from earlier event at Bay Beach.
8:00 PM Carlos Mejia – 19:00– 20:00 Began shift at 19:00 and conducted an initial patrol of the assigned beach and surrounding areas. Performed a visual inspection of the beaches, lifeguard stands, parks, tennis courts, beach access points, walkways, parking areas, and alleyways. Monitored the overall condition of the area and remained alert for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, safety concerns, or unusual behavior.
At 19:27, contacted a resident regarding a vehicle that was parked in the middle of an alleyway and advised the resident that the vehicle needed to be moved to keep the alleyway clear and accessible for normal traffic and potential emergency access. The resident was cooperative and moved the vehicle.
At approximately 19:40, greeted a resident who was playing tennis at the tennis courts. Maintained a professional and courteous interaction while continuing to monitor the surrounding area. Watched traffic flow through the area and remained aware of vehicles and pedestrians entering and leaving the surrounding streets and access points. Continued conducting routine patrols and checks while maintaining a highly visible security presence throughout the area. No suspicious activity, disturbances, property damage, or other security concerns were observed during this patrol period, and all checked areas remained clear and secure.
8:45 PM Carlos Mejia – 20:00–21:50 Continued routine security patrols throughout the assigned beach area. Conducted multiple patrols and visual checks of the beaches, lifeguard stands, parks, tennis courts, beach access points, walkways, parking areas, and alleyways. Monitored the overall activity throughout the area and watched traffic flow to ensure vehicles were moving safely and access points remained clear. Checked
the surrounding parks and tennis courts for any suspicious activity, disturbances, or unauthorized use and maintained awareness of residents and pedestrians in the area. Greeted residents encountered during patrol and maintained professional and courteous interactions while continuing to perform security duties. Conducted vehicle patrols through the surrounding areas to provide a visible security presence and deter
potential unauthorized activity. Checked alleyways and less-visible areas for loitering, suspicious persons, or other concerns. Continued monitoring the beaches and lifeguard stands and ensured the surrounding areas remained orderly. Maintained a consistent and highly visible security presence throughout the entire patrol period. No suspicious activity, disturbances, property damage, or other security concerns were observed, and all areas checked remained clear and secure.
9:44 PM Carlos Mejia – 21:00–21:30 Conducted routine security patrols of the assigned beach area, including checks of the beaches, lifeguard stands, parks, tennis courts, beach access points, walkways, parking areas, and alleyways. At approximately 21:00, attempted to document the patrol activity by taking photographs through the security patrol application. During the process, the application froze and became unresponsive. The application had to be closed and restarted in order to continue patrol operations; however, the previously entered information and photographs were deleted when the application was closed. Continued the patrol and maintained a visible security presence throughout the area while monitoring traffic flow and pedestrian activity. No suspicious activity or security concerns were observed during this period.
10:52 PM Carlos Mejia – 21:40–23:05 Continued security patrols throughout the assigned beach areas and surrounding public spaces. Notified residents and beachgoers regarding the beach closures and advised individuals that the beach was closed after hours. During the patrol, contacted and instructed multiple individuals who remained on the beach after hours to leave the area. Monitored the individuals as they
exited and ensured the beach area was cleared appropriately. Continued checking the beaches, lifeguard stands, parks, tennis courts, beach access points, walkways, parking areas, and alleyways for additional after-hours activity or suspicious behavior. Watched traffic flow throughout the area and monitored vehicles and pedestrians entering and exiting the surrounding streets. Conducted routine vehicle patrols and maintained a highly visible security presence throughout the area to deter unauthorized activity and ensure compliance with the beach closure. All checked areas were monitored and remained orderly, with no additional security concerns observed.
11:50 PM Carlos Mejia – 23:10–00:00 Continued overnight security patrols throughout the assigned beach and surrounding areas. Conducted a thorough sweep of the beach and cleared remaining individuals from the area due to the after-hours beach closure, ensuring beachgoers were informed and departed from the beach without incident. Checked multiple beach access points to make sure the area remained clear following the closure. Continued checking nearby alleyways for loitering, unauthorized persons, or any unusual activity. Inspected parks, lifeguard stands, tennis courts, walkways, and surrounding areas to ensure they remained clear and secure. Monitored traffic flow throughout the area, which was observed to be slow during this patrol period, and remained alert to vehicles, pedestrians, and activity around the beach access points.

Maintained a professional and highly visible security presence while continuing to monitor the area for suspicious activity, disturbances, vandalism, or other safety concerns. No suspicious activity or significant security concerns were observed, and all checked areas remained clear and orderly at the completion of the patrol.
12:31 AM Carlos Mejia – 00:00–00:30 Conducted a final patrol and security check of the assigned beach areas prior to beginning lunch break. Rechecked the beaches and confirmed the area remained clear following the after-hours closure. Inspected the lifeguard stands, parks, tennis courts, beach access points, walkways, parking areas, and surrounding alleyways for any remaining individuals, suspicious activity, or safety
concerns. Monitored traffic flow and pedestrian activity throughout the area and conducted a final vehicle patrol to maintain a visible security presence. Ensured restricted and less-visible areas were checked and remained secure. No suspicious activity, disturbances, property damage, or other security concerns were observed. Completed the final area check at 00:30 and proceeded to lunch break.

Monitored traffic flow throughout the area, which was observed to be slow, and maintained awareness of vehicles and pedestrians entering and exiting the surrounding streets. Checked alleyways and less-visible areas for any unusual activity or safety
concerns. Conducted routine vehicle patrols and maintained a highly visible security presence throughout the area to deter unauthorized activity. Continued monitoring the surroundings while remaining alert for disturbances, property damage, or other security concerns. All areas checked were clear and orderly, and no suspicious activity was
encountered during this patrol period.
1:43 AM Carlos Mejia – During the patrol, experienced another issue with the phone connection while attempting to take and upload photographs documenting the areas previously checked. The connection issue affected the ability to properly capture and/or upload the patrol photographs. Continued performing the required patrol duties despite the technical issue and maintained a visible security presence throughout the area.
