August 2, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00
Pulled in to the property at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park. All normal no problems. Then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then I patrolled across to Ocean front alley and back to Channel. All is well.
8:00-9:00
I patrolled across to G street and to Ocean Blvd. Then across to Channel and Ocean alley north to G again. Then up to E Bay alley. I smelled a possible gas leak in E Bay alley between F and G. I notified Newport beach fire. They are investigating the situation now . They didn’t detect anything. All is safe . 8then continued on garage detail.
9:00-10:00.
I patrolled back to G street and across Ocean front alley to Channel and jetty park. Full moon again. All is well. Then completed an entire perimeter and interior patrol of the neighborhood. A few garages open, I will continue to monitor. Then over to the fishing pier for closure. All cooperative.
10:00-11:00..
I patrolled back to A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean front alley . Then across jetty park then up to the fishing pier. All quiet. I then patrolled the alleys on the east and west side for garage doors. All closed for now. I then went across to jetty park for closure. A few fisherman all cooperative. And we have king tide. So we’ll have grunyon hunters coming through. I will continue to monitor.
11:00-12:00 2
I patrolled across to Ocean front alley to Channel and jetty park. A few people all left upon request. O then patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood. Checking on garages. All closed at this time.
12:00-1:00…
I patrolled across to G street and around to Ocean front alley then over to Channel and jetty park. A quiet night so far. Then I completed another perimeter patrol and interior patrol of the nneighborhood.All garages are closed. All is well.

I patrolled over to E Bay alley and back to Channel and Seville and Granada Avenues. Then across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. All quiet.

I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park. All quiet. Then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I patrolled back to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park all alleys and streets of the neighborhood. All is well.
