April 10, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets and parks… Observing vehicle movement and residents walking their pets.
8pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
9pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed….. removing people from The lifeguard towers and the beach.
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, I removed visitors from the park.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.
***Several teenagers arrived to the jetty and some brought beer, I called the police but they were busy handling something else in the area and I was dealt with teenagers using profanity towards me and disrespecting me.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… I am deterring approaching vehicles from parking near the jetty park and from them entering any other of the beach entrances.
***Newport Beach Police arrives and remove the teenagers that refused to leave.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…..Checking on homes under construction and observing vehicles entering BPP.
***A single female walked towards the West Jenny view Park and appeared to be intoxicated she said her phone was dead and she needed to find her friends. I called Newport Beach police and they arrived and were able to put a little charge to her phone and call her grandfather, her grandfather arrived and took her home.
3am – Off Duty.
