June 20, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
11:43 PM Dievie Terry – 1900 assumed watch and began regular routine patrol. All conditions normal and began inspection of beach access points, racquet banquet, areas of interest. No conditions that require enforcement of any kind.
2000 Continued regular patrol. no conditions out of the ordinary. Moved throughout community in reverse patrol to avoid predictability. All conditions remained normal.
2100 Started friendly reminder on the closure of parks, beaches, and jetty. All parties complied. Continued regular patrol of community. Observed less traffic in area. more foot traffic at West Jetty Park. Stayed on post as security presence and deterred further parking violations and unauthorized activity.
2200 Started to enforce the closure of beaches and parks, and the Jetty. All compliance from fishermen. Stayed on post as a reminder for closure of beaches. Continued patrol of community , enforcing security presence throughout Balboa. Patrolled docks as well ensuring the closure of fishing.
2300 Continued patrol after scheduled lunch. all conditions normal. patrolled streets, beach access points, and areas of interest . No foot traffic on beach, and community. Verified all access points and as it remained clear if personnel. No suspicious person of any kind, nor found any disturbances throughout community.

3:01 AM Dievie Terry – 0000 Continued regular patrol to no unordinary conditions. Checked racquet hall, beach access points, all parks and the beaches. All conditions remained stable. No direct calls from homeowners. Community awareness is being shown. Less foot traffic .
0100 Observed police searching for patron. Also witnessed helicopters searching for this individual. Maintained heightened awareness since police officials were close by. Continued patrol of beach access points , the racquet club, and other common areas . No direct contact with individual was made. All other community conditions remained safe, secure, and normal at the time of observation. Noticed significantly less foot traffic. Little to no personnel were seen at parks and beaches.
0330 end of shift. did last patrol stayed at West jetty as more people were coming. all conditions were normal, and safe. secured vehicle and items

12:11 AM Dievie Terry – 1900 Assumed watch. started regular patrol of docks, piers, racquet club, and all points of interest. greeted myself with homeowners and deterred patrons from illegally parking at West Jetty Park. Patrolled beach and access points as well to all conditions being normal.
2000 continued regular patrol. Did a check of Bay beach and there were unauthorized personnel on the club next to Bay beach. Gently reminded these are private property and not open to the public. patron complied happily and continued patrol.
2100 Started giving reminders for personnel on the Jetty, docks, beaches and parks that area is closed at 2200. met with understanding fishers then continued patrol. All conditions remained normal and no out of the ordinary situations occurred.
2200 Started enforcing the closure of all beaches and parks. All patrons complied and was met with understanding individuals because patron were here prior and understood the closure of beaches and parks
2300 – Continued enforcement of closure rules stated at park for an hr because of high foot traffic around this time. I reminded patrons of the closure of all beaches and parks. Additionally, informed patrons NewPort Beach PD are also enforcing the rules. continued on community patrol with no incidents to report. all conditions remained normal
