May 31, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00…..
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and up to E Bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Blvd to G street access and F street access points. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to I street and L street and L Park and back across to M Street and down to Ocean Blvd. I then patrolled across to jetty Park and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the clubhouse. All is normal for now…..
8:00-9:00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street F street access points. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd*** very busy. Police patrolling. All seems well. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd and up to the club. All is well for now…..
9:00-10:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Blvd to G street. I then patrolled across Ocean Alley North to channel Rd and up to the fishing pier for closure. *** A few people on the pier. All cooperative about leaving. All clear on the pier……
10:00-11:00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled across Ocean Alley North to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd and Jetty Park for closure. *** Busy out. Several people on the benches and the beach. All cooperative so far about leaving…..
11:00-12:00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street access and F street access points and back across Ocean Alley North to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then I patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and up to E Bay Ave and across from the fishing pier and the clubhouse and back down channel Rd to jetty Park. ** 1 person taking a picture. All cooperative about leaving……
12:00-1:00..
I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to M Street Access point. All clear. Then L street access point. All clear. Then I street access point. All clear. I then patrolled across to G street access and F street access points. All clear for now. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse
Then back down M Street to Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. All is well for now….
1:00-2:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street access and F street access points and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. *** I had a few people in there cars. All cooperative about leaving. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley.”*** I had a teenager on a bicycle in the alley of Miramar drive He couldn’t seem to produce an address. Then 3 of his friends showed up on bicycles. They all went in the garage and in the house. It looked a little suspicious.*** I called Newport Beach Police. Waiting for the police now. They haven’t come out yet. The teenager had access to the garage and the house. I assume he lives there. The police must be busy. The police dispatch has the address of the resident if they feel the need to check the home. All is well for now….

I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Alley North to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All clear on the pier. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley. Then L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled down to jetty Park and back up M Street to the fishing pier and the clubhouse.
