May 19, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00…..
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and up to E Bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Blvd to G street access and F street access points. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to I street and L street and L Park and back across to M Street. Then I patrolled down M Street to Ocean Blvd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is normal for now…
8:00-9:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across to G street and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to I street and L street and L Park and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now….
9:00-10:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled across Ocean Alley North to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street to I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier for closure. *** A few people on the pier. All cooperative about leaving. All clear on the pier…..
10:00-11:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier.*** I had a few people on the pier. All cooperative about leaving. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street again and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Alley North to channel Rd and Jetty Park for closure.*** A few people in the park and on the beach. All cooperative about leaving. All is well for now…..
11:00-12;00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean front alley to G street and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Alley North to G street. *** I had a group of people on G street beach. They left without incident. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd again. *** I had several people in there cars. All left without incident. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing. ** I had a few people on the pier. All left without incident. All is well for now…..
12:00-1:00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to M Street Access point. All clear. Then to L street access point. All clear. Then to I street access point. *** A couple of people in there cars. All cooperative about leaving. I then patrolled across to G street access and F street access points. All clear for now. I saw Newport Beach Police drive through the neighborhood. No incidents . All is well for now…..
1:00-2:00….
I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. *** As I was parked in front of Jetty Park an unmarked patrol car went west on Ocean Blvd. The officer stopped at M Street Access point. The officer was looking in a car with a flashlight. I slowed down near Ocean Blvd and M Street. The officer waved me off. There is now 6 patrol officers on the scene . No more information at this time. I continued my patrol. I then patrolled up channel Rd to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I will continue to monitor from a distance……
2:00-3:00….
I was told by an officer the vehicle was under suspition .The police have left. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. All clear. I then patrolled across Ocean Alley North to G street. Then I patrolled across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and across Balboa Blvd to G street.Then up to E Bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood. All is well code 4 patrolled…..
