May 6, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00….
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and up to E Bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Blvd to G street access and F street access points. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to I street and L street and L Park and back across to M Street and down to Ocean Blvd. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is normal for now….
8:00-9:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street access and F street access points and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse and back across Balboa Blvd to G street. I then patrolled across Miramar drive to I street and L street and L Park and back across to M Street and up to Seville and Granada avenues and back down M Street to Ocean Blvd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now….
9:00-10:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street access and F street access points and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse and back across Balboa Blvd to G street. I then patrolled across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier for closure. *** All clear on the pier. Windy…..
10:00-11:00……
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to A street and back across toB,C,D,R,F,G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled down to jetty Park for closure. *** A few people on the benches and the beach. All cooperative about leaving. *** A couple people in there cars left upon seeing me. All is well for now….
11:00-12:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse . I then patrolled down channel Rd to jetty Park and back across Ocean front alley to M Street Access point. All clear. L street access point. All clear. Then I street access point. All clear. I then patrolled across to G street access and F street access points. All clear for now. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park.** A few fisherman leaving from the outer Jetty. All is well for now…..
12:00-1:00…
I then patrolled across the Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Alley North to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean front alley to G street. Then I patrolled across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now….
1:00-2:00….
I had a complaint from a resident about a large Dodge ram long bed pickup truck possibly casing hi end vehicles. I tailed a Dodge ram off the point Pryor the resident speaking to me. All is well for now. I will immediately call Newport Beach Police if I see the vehicle again. I patrolled the entire neighborhood no sign of the truck. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd and Jetty Park. All is well for now…
2:00-3:00….
I pulled back to A street. Then I patrolled across Balboa Blvd to B,C,D,E,F,G street and back across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean front alley to G street access and F street access points. All clear. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and back across Ocean Alley North to G street. I then patrolled across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood. All is well code 4 patrolled…..
