February 4, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00….
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and up to E Bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and across Ocean Blvd to G street access and F street access points. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to I street and over to L street and L Park and back across to M Street and back down to Ocean Blvd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is normal for now…..
8:00-9:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street access and F street access points and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to I street and over to L street and L Park and across to M Street and back down to Miramar drive and across to channel Rd. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now….
9:00-10:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Alley North to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G again and back across Miramar drive to I street and over to L street and L Park and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd. I then patrolled up the fishing pier for closure. *** A few people leaving the pier as I approached. ** A few kayekers leaving as well. All is well for now….
10:00-11:00….
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and back across Balboa Blvd to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean front alley to G street access and F street access points. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then back across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd and Jetty Park for closure. *** A few people on the beach and the lifeguard tower. All cooperative about leaving. All is well for now……
11:00-12:00….
I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to M Street Access point. All clear. Then L street access point All clear. Then I street access point. All clear. I then patrolled across to G street access and F street access points. All is well for now. I then patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd. A few people in there cars. Cooperative about leaving so far. Then I patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd and Jetty Park. All is well for now……
12:00-1:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street access and F street access points. All clear. I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Blvd to G street. I then patrolled across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. Then down to jetty Park and back up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now……
1:00-2:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avenues. *** I had an elderly woman driving around, she looked confused. I got her to stop. She was lost. Somehow she got turned around and drove here from Torrance. I’ve informed Newport Beach Police. I’m waiting on them now. Newport Beach Police have arrived and taken over the situation. I then patrolled down to jetty Park and back across Ocean front alley to G street and back up to Balboa Blvd and across to the clubhouse. All is well for now….
2:00-3:00….
I saw Newport Beach Police escorting her West on Balboa Blvd. One in front. One in back of the woman. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. All clear. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Alley North to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avenues and back across to G street. I then patrolled across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I then patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood. All is well code 4 patrolled….
