February 2, 2026 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00….
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,F,G street and up to E Bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park and back across Ocean Blvd to G street access and F street access points. All clear. Then back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to Miramar drive to I street and over to L street and L Park and back across to M Street and back down to Ocean Blvd. I then patrolled up channel Rd to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is normal for now….
8:00-9:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street. *** I had a complaint of a man sleeping in his car on the service road/ path that leads to the wedge. I approached the man he was awake. He backed out of the area and drove away. I reported it to Newport Beach Police. I reported the description of the vehicle and the license plate number. As I escorted him off the peninsula. To the village. I then patrolled across Miramar drive to channel Rd and up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse….
9:00-10:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse and back across Balboa Blvd to G street. I then patrolled across Miramar drive to I street and L street and L Park and back across to M Street and back down to Ocean Blvd. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Ocean front alley to channel Rd. I then patrolled across up to Seville and Granada avenues again and over to the fishing pier for closure. *** A couple fisherman all cooperative about leaving…..
10:00-11:00….
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and back across Balboa Blvd to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. The pier is clear. Then back across to channel Rd and Jetty Park. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to G street access and F street access points. All clear. I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park and up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and back down M Street to Ocean Blvd and Jetty Park for closure. *** A few people in the park. They left upon my arrival. All is well for now…..
11:00-12:00….
I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to M Street Access point. All clear. Then L street access. All clear. Then I street access. All clear. I then patrolled across to G street access and F street access points. All clear for now. I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and back across Ocean Alley North to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. All is well for now….
12:00-1:00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and back across to all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. Then up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and back down M Street to Ocean Blvd and Jetty Park. All clear for now. I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to G street access and F street access points and back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park. All is well for now…
1:00-2:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street access and F street access points. All clear. Then across Ocean front alley to channel Rd and Jetty Park. All clear. I then patrolled up to Seville and Granada avenues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse and across Balboa Blvd to G street and up to E Bay Ave and back across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled down M Street to Ocean Blvd and across Ocean Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd and up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is quiet at this time…..
2:00-3:00….
I pulled back across to A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and across Balboa Blvd to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and Jetty Park.*** A few fisherman headed to the outer Jetty. I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to G street access and F street access points. All clear. All clear on M,L, and I access points as well. Then I patrolled back across Ocean Blvd to channel Rd and back across Ocean Alley North to G street. I then patrolled across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood . Then back down to jetty Park and back up channel Rd to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well code 4 patrolled…..
