July 9, 2025 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00….
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and back up to E bay alley and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then back across to channel Rd and down to jetty park and across ocean Blvd to G street Access and F street Access points. Then back across ocean Blvd to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avanues and back across Balboa Blvd to G street and across Miramar drive to channel Rd and up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then a complete perimeter and interior patrol of the neighborhood. All is normal for now…
8:00-9:00….
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to channel Rd and down to jetty park and across ocean Blvd to G street access and F street Access points. Then back across ocean Blvd to channel and up to Seville and Granada avanues and over to the fishing pier. Then I patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L Street and L Park. Then across to M street and I circled Seville and Granada avanues and over to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now. Busy out…..
9:00-10:00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and up to E bay Ave and across to the fishing pier. Then back down to jetty park and up to Seville and Granada avanues and over to Balboa Blvd and across to G street and back across ocean Blvd to M street and back over to the fishing pier. Then back down to jetty park and across ocean Blvd to G street and back across Balboa Blvd to the fishing pier for closure. Busy on the pier. All cooperative about leaving for now….
10:00-11:00….
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G street and back across Balboa Blvd to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then across to channel Rd and down to jetty park. Then across ocean front alley to G street access and F street Access points and back across ocean Blvd to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avanues. I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and back across Miramar drive to channel Rd and down to jetty park for closure.*** A few people on the benches all cooperative about leaving. ** Then a few people on the lifeguard tower all cooperative about leaving. All is well for now….
11:00-12:00….I then patrolled across ocean front alley to G street access and F street Access points. All clear. 11:40 pm I then had a vehicle parked on ocean Blvd near channel.*** I asked the young man to leave the area. He was very reluctant. Finally he sped off up channel. ** I then found him at the I street access point. He sped off again. I then found him again at the G street access point. ** Trying to go on the beach. I told him the area was closed for the night. He had a few words and finally left. I will continue to monitor the situation. I then patrolled across Miramar drive and Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L Street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. All is well for now…..
12:00-1:00….
I then patrolled across ocean Blvd to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avanues and over to the fishing pier. All clear. Then I patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street access and F street Access points. All clear. Then back across Miramar drive and Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L Street and L Park and across to all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. Then back down to jetty park.*** I had a few people in the park all cooperative about leaving. All is well for now….
1:00-2:00…..
I then patrolled across Balboa Blvd to G street and up to E bay Ave and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then back down to jetty park and across ocean front alley to G Street Access and F street Access points. All clear. Then back across ocean Blvd to channel Rd and up to Seville and Granada avanues and over to M street and back to L Street and L Park. Then back down to jetty park. **** I had a group in there car and on the beach. All cooperative about leaving. All is well for now….
2:00-3:00…..
I then patrolled across ocean Blvd to G street access and F street Access points. All clear. Then back across ocean front alley to jetty park and up to Seville and Granada avenues and back down to jetty park. All clear for now. Then I patrolled across to G street and back across Miramar drive and Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L Street and L Park and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. Then a complete perimeter and interior patrol of the neighborhood. *** 2:35. A police chase came on to the point across Balboa Blvd to jetty park and back out toward the village. I don’t know the results. I assume they caught the vehicle. A black pick up truck. I then patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood again. All is well code 4 patrolled…
