PATROL REPORT – May 9, 2025

May 9, 2025 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras

7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets and parks… Observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.*** 2 large construction vehicles are parked near L Street Park.

8pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.

9pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity to report.

10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed, warning visitors that the beach and pier are now closed.

***10:11pm – A man and a woman had a fire burning on the beach near the G Street lifeguard tower, I had them put out the fire and leave the beach but they left behind beer bottles on the beach.

..

11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, clearing all visitors from the park.

***11:39pm – I removed a man and woman from the P lifeguard tower and from the beach.

12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.

1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach. ***I removed a man and a woman from the kids beach.

2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…..Checking on homes under construction and observing vehicles entering BPP.

***2:18am – a female driver and a male passenger parked a white Mercedes C 250 against the red curb near the jetty park, I asked them move and they drove on Oceanfront and stopped at M Street, they were blocking the street and I asked them to move, they drove away on M Street and made a right on Miramar Dr. As I was driving on Miramar Dr I seen them again parked in front of 2146 Miramar Dr, as I walked up to the driver’s window I can see the male passenger finishing what appears to be cocaine, As I was calling the police they drove away at a fast speed on Balboa Blvd away from BPP.

3am – Off Duty.
