August 27, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00….
I pulled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G…to E bay alley and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then down to jetty park and across ocean front alley to G street. Then across ocean alley north to channel and up to Seville and Granada avanues and back to the fishing pier. All normal so far…
8:00-9:00..
I then patrolled across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to I street and I alley to L street and L Park. Then all alleys on the west side of the neighborhood. Then across to all all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. A few garages open,all closed for now. Then another patrol of ocean front alley and jetty park . Then across ocean alley north to G street. A few cars at the Access. I will continue to monitor….
9:00-10:00….
I pulled across to G street Access and F street Access. A few people out in the beach. It’s early yet so I will continue to monitor. Then up to E bay alley and across to Seville and Granada avanues and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. I have a man waiting with a stalled car at the fishing pier. He has assistant’s on the way. Then across to the fishing pier for closure. All clear….
10:00-11:00…
I pulled in at A,B,C,D,E,F,G..to G street Access and across ocean Blvd and up M street to the fishing pier. I helped the man with the stalled car get moving. All clear. I then patrolled down to jetty park for closure. A few people all cooperative. Then I patrolled across ocean front alley to check all beach access points. All quiet for now…
11:00-12:00….
I then patrolled up to ocean Blvd and across to G street access. I walked the beach between G and F street. 2 teenagers all cooperative. Then back across ocean Blvd to channel and jetty park. A couple taking pictures no problem they left after they got photos. Then a complete interior patrol of the neighborhood and up the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well for now…
12:00-1:00….
I then patrolled across to G street Access and up to E bay alley and across to the fishing pier and down to jetty park. All clear. Then across ocean front alley to G street and back across ocean alley north to channel. Then up to Seville and Granada avanues and all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. Then up to the clubhouse. All is well for now…
1:00-1:30..
I then patrolled over to the fishing pier. I have a a couple of men who have driven there car on to bay beach launch area. It is stuck on the beach over the sidewalk and the curb. I informed Newport Beach police. They are on the scene now. It will need a tow truck to pull it out. I will continue to monitor..
1:30-2:00…
I continued my patrol of the neighborhood. A complete perimeter and interior patrol all alleys on the east and west side. Then down to jetty park. A few people all leaving. Then across to G street and up to E bay alley and back to the fishing pier. The Newport Beach police are still investigating the situation at bay Beach. ..
2:00-3:00…
I then patrolled across to A,B,C,D,E,F,G. Streets. Then across ocean front alley to channel and jetty park. I pulled up to the fishing pier and spoke to the officers briefly. There waiting on a tow truck to pull the car off the beach. And the alleged driver is being placed in custody. I then patrolled across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to I street and I alley. Then all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. Then a complete perimeter and interior patrol of the neighborhood. All is well code 4 patrolled…The tow truck has arrived…
