July 8, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00.
I pulled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to E Bay alley and back to Channel and jetty park. A few people all normal. Then across Ocean front alley to G street and back across Ocean alley north to Channel and up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well. Light crowd out.
8:00-9:00..
I then patrolled across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park and all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. I have a few garages open for now. I will continue to monitor.
9:00-10:00…
I then patrolled across to G street all quiet at the access. Then up to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to m street and down to jetty park. Several fisherman. I began my diversion of there areas of fishing. Then up to the fishing pier for closure. Several people all cooperative so far. A constant monitor of the situation. And of the garages. As I was about to leave the jetty park area a girl came up and said there was a possible assault in a car on Ocean Blvd . She asked me what I could do. I told her to call the police. I had just asked the same couple to leave the park. I witnessed possible horse play. Apparently it got worse or violent when the couple reached the car. As the girl called the police the vehicle a white SUV jeep Left the area rapidly. The police arrived immediately and took a report. Apparently they have been stopped by Newport beach police.

I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd and across to Channel and up to the fishing. A few people still around. All cooperative. Then down to Ocean front alley to G street and back across Ocean alley north jetty park for closure. A few people busy but cooperative.
11:00-12:00..
I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to G and up to E Bay alley and back to Channel and the clubhouse. Then all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. All garages are closed for now.
12:00-1:00..
I patrolled back across Ocean alley north to G street. And across Ocean alley north to Channel and up to Seville and Granada Avenues. Then over the G street and up to E Bay alley and back to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well.
1:00-1:30..
I then patrolled across Ocean Blvd to the fishing pier. I had a group on the pier. All cooperative they left upon request.

2:00-3:00..
I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then across to I and I alley. Then to all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. Then down to jetty park and across Ocean front alley to G street and back across Ocean alley north to Channel. Then up to Seville and Granada Avenues and the fishing pier. I then patrolled across to G street and up to E Bay alley and then a complete perimeter and interior patrol of the neighborhood. All is well code 4..patrolled.
