September 11, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7::00-8:00.
Pulled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd to Channel and jetty park then up to the fishing pier. Then across to G street and Ocean front alley and back to Channel. Another busy night. Then across Ocean alley north to G street . All normal.
8:00-9:00.
Then I patrolled up to E Bay alley and back to Channel and the clubhouse. Then over to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park and I street and I alley and all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. All is well. Then back to the fishing pier. Very busy tonight as well.
9:00-10:00
I Patrolled back to G street and Ocean front alley . Very busy again tonight. More luminescence. I am constantly circling jetty park. Then up to the fishing pier and across to G street and Ocean front alley . All garages are closed for now . Then I patrolled across to close the fishing pier. All cooperative.
10:00-11:00.
I patrolled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd and over to Channel and jetty park. I then patrolled up to the fishing pier for another check. 1 couple no problem. Then I patrolled Ocean alley north to G street and over to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park. I then proceeded to secure and start the process of closing jetty park. Stay tuned.
11:00-12:00
I patrolled back to Ocean Blvd across to G street and back to jetty park. It is calming down finally, the luminescent color is not happening tonight I’m told. Another social media blunder. I then patrolled across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park and I street and I alley. Then a complete perimeter check. Then back to Channel and jetty park and across Ocean front alley and back to the fishing pier. All is slowing down.
12:00-1:00.
I then patrolled across to G street and up to E Bay alley and over to Channel and the clubhouse . Then across to the fishing pier. 2 people on the pier. Left upon request. Then right back to jetty park. A few more people all cooperative. Then across Ocean Blvd to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park and all alleys on the east side and the west side of the neighborhood. All garages are closed. Then right back to jetty park .I’m getting it thinned down. All is quiet.
1:00-1:30.
I then patrolled back to Ocean front alley and over to G street and around to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street. Then across to M. Then all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. Still people trying to hang around. All is well.
1:30-2:15.. break…2:15..back…..
2:15-3:00.
I patrolled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park. A few people in the car. I ask them to leave. Sometimes they won’t. I continue to monitor them. Then I patrolled up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse and across to G street and Ocean front alley and back to Channel. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior patrol of the neighborhood. Then 1 more perimeter patrol. All is well.
