November 1, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement….**I noticed the fence pulled back at the construction site at 1412 E. Oceanfront, I checked inside and I didn’t find anyone.
8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.
9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no problems to report.
10pm – Removing people from the pier and warning people the beach is closed.
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed and I cleared the park of all visitors.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, deterring people from entering beach and the park……**I removed 3 males and 3 females from the pier, they left the area in 2 vehicles.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach….**I removed a male and a female sleeping in a red Buick minivan CA license plate 9NWW435 parked in front of 2117 E. Balboa Blvd.
***1:49 am – I stopped a group of 6 men attempting to enter the beach to go fishing, they left in 2 cars.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement….**2:23am I removed a male and a female from the beach near Wedge lifeguard tower.
***2:52am – a male and female were walking on E. Ovean Blvd towards M Street and when they seen me they both decided to hide from me. I later found them in car parked on M Street and I followed them off the Point.
3am – No problems to report…. Off Duty.
