July 24, 2025 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets and parks… Observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
8pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
9pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed…..I removed people fishing from the pier and I removed people from the lifeguard towers.
**I removed a man and a woman from the beach near E Street that had a canopy and several candles.
..
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, clearing all visitors from the park.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.
***12:16am – As I attempted to remove a man and woman from the beach near M Street he became hostile and was verbally insulting me, he walked north on M Street and then disappeared on Miramar Dr towards L Street.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…..Checking on homes under construction and observing vehicles entering BPP.
***2:12am – I observed a vehicle approaching the Jetty Park with the lights off, the vehicle turned on Ocean and I followed, the truck parked on L Street and I was able to stop the group from entering the beach. The group walked towards I Street and again I was able to stop them from entering the beach, they walked back to their truck and left the area still driving without headlights on.
3am – Off Duty.
