July 13, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.
8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity to report.
9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no problems to report.
10pm – Removing several people from the pier and warning people the beach is closed.
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed and I have cleared the park of all visitors.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. I received a telephone call of a noise disturbance at Balboa & G Street, as I arrived a small group was being dropped off and were talking loud, I asked them to please keep their voices down.
**At 12:39 am I returned to the Jetty Park area and I observed a large group of young adults drinking alcoholic beverages in front of 2164 E. Ocean Blvd, I told them to leave immediately and they departed the area.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. As I return to the Jetty Park from patrolling I continue removing people from the beach and Jetty Park.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. I observed a garage open at 1506 E. Balboa Blvd and I also observed the mailbox is full.
3am – No problems to report…. Off Duty.
