7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets and parks… Observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
8pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
9pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed…..I removed people fishing from the pier and I removed people from the lifeguard towers.
..
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, clearing all visitors from the park.
*** 11:18pm A man drove his 2000 Ford van onto the beach at the Wedge. Newport Beach Police arrived to investigate the situation. Southside Towing arrived and towed his van out to the street. The driver was issued a citation for possession of illegal narcotics and the driver drove away.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.
***12:40am The Fire department were on a medical call at the corner of F Street and Balboa Blvd.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…..Checking on homes under construction and observing vehicles entering BPP.
3am – Off Duty.
