PATROL REPORT – August 17, 2025

August 17, 2025 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras

7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets and parks… Observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.

8pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.

9pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.

10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed…..I removed people fishing from the pier and I removed people from the lifeguard towers.

..

11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, clearing all visitors from the park.

12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.

1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach.

***1:07am – I removed two males and a female drinking beer on the jetty. They drove away in a gray Chevy Colorado pickup truck.

***1:37am – I removed three males and one female from the L Street lifeguard Tower that were drinking beer as they we’re walking back to their vehicle one male started to vomit and I noticed the female was having a hard time walking, I called the police because it is unsafe for them to operate a vehicle in their condition. They drove away in a red Toyota SUV.

2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…..Checking on homes under construction and observing vehicles entering BPP.

***A black sedan was driving on Balboa Blvd playing loud music, as I was approaching them I noticed 5 occupants inside the vehicle that looked like gang members. The driver seen me approaching them and he , turned off the lights and tried to avoid me, I found him parked with the lights off parked in a resident’s driveway at 107 G Street, because of his suspicious activity I called the police, when the police arrived the vehicle was driving away from Balboa Peninsula point.
