7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets and parks… Observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
8pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
9pm – Patrolling streets and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed…..I removed people fishing from the pier and I removed people from the lifeguard towers.
***I received a telephone call from a resident about drag racing on Balboa and k Street, I responded ASAP but when I arrived I did not see any vehicles speeding on Balboa boulevard.
..
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, clearing all visitors from the park.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.
***12:27am – I observed two kayaks approaching the kids beach, they loaded their kayaks on a truck and drove away from the area.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach.
***1:47am – Newport Beach Police arrived at Balboa boulevard and k Street.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…..Checking on homes under construction and observing vehicles entering BPP.
3am – Off Duty.
