August 1, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00
Pulled in to the property at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park . Very busy tonight at the park. Then up to the fishing pier. Very busy, a group of about 30 kids and parents having a swim party. I made sure they were supervised. Apparently it’s a yearly event. All is well.
8:00-9:00
I patrolled across to G street and to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park. Then across Ocean alley north to G street and up to E Bay alley and back to Channel. Then across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then all alleys on garage detail.
9:00-10:00.
I patrolled back to G street and across Ocean front alley to Channel and jetty park. The crowd thinned out a bit. Then I patrolled across Ocean alley north to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley. Then over to all alleys on the east side. A couple garages still open. I will continue to monitor. Then up to the fishing pier for closure. A few people. All cooperative.
10:00-11:00..
I patrolled back to A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean front alley . Then across jetty park then up to the fishing pier. All quiet. Then back G street and Ocean Blvd to m street and up to Seville and Granada Avenues. Then over to jetty park for closure. King tide.And full moon. People are grunyon hunting. No luck tonight. Most of them left . All is well.
11:00-12:00
I patrolled across to Ocean alley north to G street. Then up to E Bay alley and back to Channel. Then over to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then across to I street and I alley. Then a garage patrol. All closed for now.
12:00-1:00…
I patrolled across to G street and around to Ocean front alley and back to jetty park. A constant flow of people trying to get on beach. Most of them cooperative. But not all of them. A continues patrol of the neighborhood and the park.

I patrolled over to E Bay alley and back to Channel and the fishing pier. All quiet. Then Seville and Granada Avenues and all alleys on the east side. All garages are closed for now.

I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park. Still there are people on sending away. One of those nights. After clearing jetty park I patrolled across Ocean alley north to G street and up to E Bay alley and back to the clubhouse. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior of the neighborhood. All is well.
